LiveO2 Adaptive Contrast is an accessible entry point into oxygen and altitude training. Switch between oxygen-rich air and simulated altitude air during your session. A fixed 10,000-foot altitude setting keeps the setup simple.

Where Adaptive Contrast Fits

Choose Adaptive Contrast when a lower entry price is your priority and fixed-altitude training meets your needs. You can progress within supported 10,000-foot protocol stages, but this system cannot increase the simulated altitude.

For single-user home training, we recommend LiveO2 Extreme. Its adjustable altitude gives you more ways to tailor sessions and follow higher-altitude stages as you progress. That flexibility matters for home users, athletes, and clinics serving a range of clients.

For a clinic prioritizing higher user throughput per hour and per day, compare Dual Extreme. Its two training stations support simultaneous sessions and flexible scheduling from one shared setup. For one person at home, stay with a single-user system.

How Contrast Training Works

Your breathing switch selects oxygen-rich air or reduced-oxygen altitude air. Follow your guided session to move between the challenge and recovery portions without changing exercise equipment.

Separate reservoir chambers hold oxygen-rich and altitude air, ready for you to switch between them. An oxygen-only EWOT system does not provide the altitude side of this cycle.

LiveO2 Training App Included

Your system includes owner access to the LiveO2 training app: guidance and support at hand on your phone, from getting started to building a consistent training routine.

  • Follow guided sessions: step-by-step instructions and session timers help you work through the protocols available to you.
  • Track your training: review completed sessions and notes, and use progress check-ins to follow changes over time.
  • Stay supported: find support contacts on your dashboard, alongside your training resources.

Included New User Coaching helps you get started with your setup and training. Training programs include Whole Body O₂, Post-Session Breathwork, Body Awareness, HIIT O₂, Altitude O₂, and the VO₂ Max training program. Your trainer can help you choose appropriate programs and levels for your goals, readiness, and system configuration.

Adaptive Contrast supports the complete HIIT O₂ progression at 10,000 feet. Extreme adds the adjustable settings needed for its higher-altitude stages. Your readiness and protocol access are separate from the model you buy.

Choose Your Air-Supply Capacity

  • 10 L/min: one 10 L/min air separator. The starting configuration for one person.
  • 20 L/min: two 10 L/min air separators. More replenishment capacity and faster filling from empty, useful when sessions are closer together.

Both options have the same fixed 10,000-foot altitude and one training station. Choosing 20 L/min does not add adjustable altitude or a second training station.

L/min describes rated oxygen production, not the volume of air in the reservoir or the air delivered with each breath. The reservoir supplies your breathing demand while the separators replenish it.

The oxygen chamber continues to refill while the system runs, including during use. Initial filling is different from preparing a filled, running system for the next session. Session spacing depends on the training and the user.

Reservoir Dimensions and Room Planning

Reservoir dimensions: 96 inches high and 57 inches wide when laid flat, and approximately 36 inches deep when filled. These are the overall reservoir measurements.

Choose the included wall/ceiling hanging hardware or the optional freestanding frame kit. For wall or ceiling mounting, space the hanging points approximately 4½ feet apart and allow at least 8 inches between the reservoir and the wall so it can fill freely.

The reservoir dimensions do not include the frame. If you choose the frame kit, plan for approximately 8 feet 6 inches of height, 6 feet of width, and 3 feet of depth. The support frame and its stabilizing legs extend beyond the reservoir itself.

Air separator dimensions: Each air separator is approximately 23.6 inches high, 15 inches wide, and 14.6 inches deep. A 10 L/min configuration uses one air separator; 20 L/min uses two. Place each unit on the floor with at least 8 inches of open space on all sides for ventilation.

Add enough room for your bike or other exercise equipment and a clear path around the training area. The flexible reservoir uses a low-VOC liner and is made in the USA. Ask our team for installation and room-fit guidance before ordering.
